No, not near the Clinton Library, but it is just down the road from me. I've actually seen it up close. A few years ago when when I bought my M-37 I went down to the courthouse to get it licensed. The girl there looked at my paperwork and said that she and her husband used to have an M-37. When they bought the farm where they live the 37 was there and came with the farm. They sold it to a friend who then "restored" it. She called him up and he said to come by and see it. So I climb back in my newly purchased and licensed M-37 and drove over to see what was probably the closest M-37 to me. When I pulled up in the driveway this is the M-37 I saw. I haven't seen it since that day. It had been heavily "accessorized" then but has clearly had even more stuff added since. It was in Lagrange about four miles from my house but is listed in Sulfur which is about ten miles from me so perhaps it has changed hands since I looked at it.
I beg of you not to let this influence your opinion of Kentucky.

It's missing fuzzy dice and the bobble head hula dancer on the dash. Does that say "Pimp Daddy" on the door?

Yeah...a guy can remove all the add-ons easy enough, but that'll leave a heck of a lot of bolt and screw holes to patch. Putting all those patches on the inside of the cab canvas was a real brain fart, too. They're easy to take off, but all those needle holes will leak like a sieve in any rainstorm.WarrenD wrote:Whatever has been done appears to be easily un-done. Understood. My point is, it doesn't appear any worse than an M37 that was used by small volunteer fire departments. They, also, like to hang lots of lights off trucks. In this case, assuming the price is right and the frame, body and mechanicals are in decent shape, a few extra holes aren't a deal breaker for many.
