Hard top rear window channel frame

Post by HingsingM37 »

Looking for a decent rectangular sliding rear window glass frame for the artic top. I have a decent bolt on frame, but I need the grooved window frame (the frame on the right) as mine is very rough as you can see in the photo.

David,

You may have to manufacture that yourself. You might try a glass shop and or old time hardware store (the kind that does repair of windows and screens) to see if they have a piece like that. I use to work for Glass Doctor here in Cleveland a few years ago and they all kinds of metal and alum. frame pieces, but he would charge and arm and a leg for it. Thought everything was gold plated or something....anyway you might see what glass shop is in your neck of the woods and see if they can help you.

mmmm. Old time hardware, Thats a good idea. I have one of those nearby that had some deuces with hardtops a while back. I'll check it out. He may still have the trucks. I had the concept of repairing it but I was hoping somebody had one laying about 8)

Anybody have the whole (or parts) of the slideing window for sale. When I bought my M37 it had a piece of plexiglass for a back window and I would like to put the right one in it.
Thanks,
Steve

Welcome to the site Steve! :D
Unfortunately I'm of no help on the window parts. But you've come to the right place.
