Hello all!!!
Just joined the site. Been lurking and fooling around in the test section figuring out how to post pics to the board. Figured that out with a bit of confusion but all is well now.
Looking forward to getting to know you guys and really enjoying the site so far. Lots of great info on here that's already been more help then you could know.
Trucks pretty original under the spray bomb OD Army clone paint job. Lots of stratos blue showing where the rattle can is peeling off.
You can imagine how happy I was to see primer, blue, then green.
No stripping or blasting for me. Just lots of light sanding.
It's got some miss matched year wheels. A 57 and a 53.
Needs exhaust as the one on it lacks the flange for the fording kit that came with it.
Still 24 volt. New harness is first on the list as this one is original and showing it.
I'm in the Fryeburg area.

As far as "mismatched" years on the wheels...if anyone gets down that close and complains, boot them in the keester and tell them to mind their own business!
Welcome aboard!

Those brackets are for the fold down seat extension that can be used when the spare tire is removed. The "baby seat". It makes the passenger side troop seat about 18" longer.
Thanks Chunk!
I think I have whats left of it in one of the boxes of parts that came with the truck. A few short pieces of oak and some braces, and frame work.
I'll have to dig it out and see if it matches.
Anyone have a pic of one?
Thanks again!
Missed that one, didn't see your ? under the pic. I've got one that isn't installed yet, I take a pic of it this am for you.
I've always called it the jump seat, funny it just hangs there unless you remove the spare tyre?
Welcome to the forum, Cap! Those little troop seats are hard to find, too. I once saw a pair on E-Bay that went for over $100 each. Anyway, there is strength in numbers-glad to have you with us!
