BUT WHEN THEY SAW I WOULD DO IT, THEY JUMPED OUT LOL
... WENT UP THERE IN FIRST HIGH AND A QUARTER OF GAS PEDAL. EASY STUFF FOR THE M 37

Nice action video, your truck could of been pulling one of those cars behind it and still made it up the stairs.

Sotven,
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Two of my students just came back from Greece. They have family there that are from Crete. "Detarakis" and "Plevarakis" (SP?). I will have to send your video link to them so they can translate for me:) You have a a beautiful country, I hope I can visit someday. They were telling me about how the sand makes its way across from Africa to the coast beaches, the great food, and roasting goats over an open fire. Sounds enchanting

Sotven,
As everyone else has said, great video. My Wife and I went to Greece a couple of years ago for a couple of weeks. We had an awesome time. Not connected to a tour, just on our own. We liked it so much that she bought tickets to return next May to Crete, also for a couple of weeks.
David's description of a goat over an open fire is making my mouth water!

Sotven, I am curious about something. Every propane vehicle that I have ever owned always seemed to be rediculously hard on fuel compared to the same vehicles on gasoline. How are you finding it? My vehicles also seemed to lose a lot of torque after being converted too
I took the road less travelled...now where the hell am I???
OH, CRETANS, THAT IS GREAT!!! MY BROTHER IN LAW IS FROM CRETE. TAKEN FROM THEIR LAST NAMES, I WOULD ASSUME THEY ARE FROM A REGION CALLED "LASITHI". TELL THEM I SAID HELLO. WHAT DO YOU TEACH HINGSING? THANK YOU FOR LIKING MY COUNTRY, YES ROAST GOATS, "RAKI", AND WINE ALONG WITH TRADITIONAL MUSIC BLEND NICELY AT NIGHT THEREHingsingM37 wrote:Sotven,

HI TEOMA. I HAVE HAD THIS TRUCK FOR 10 YEARS NOW, AND I CONVERTED IT AS SOON AS I GOT IT. CONSUMPTION ON PROPANE IS ON AVERAGE 10% MORE THAN GAS. YET, PROPANE IN GREECE COSTS LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE OF GAS PER LITER. SO THE DIFFERANCE IN PRICE MAKES UP FOR THE DIFFERANCE IN CONSUMPTION BY FAR. ALSO, I DO NOT NEED TO USE THE CHOKE AT ALL WHEN I START WITH PROPANE, AND I HAVE NO EVAPORATION OF FUEL DURING THE HOT DAYS OF SUMMER, OR STALL FUEL FROM OVERSITTING. FINALLY, THE GAS SYSTEM IS STILL THERE. SO IF I RUN OUT OF NATURAL GAS, OR SOMETHING GOES WRONG ON THE SETUP, I FLICK A SWITCH ON THE DASH AND I RUN ON GAS AS OPPOSED TO THE PROPANE RIGHT AWAY. PLUS MY TRAVELING RANGE IS DOUBLE NOW WITH THE TWO FUELS. AS OF TORQUE, I DID NOT NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE TO IT.Teoma wrote:Sotven, I am curious about something.
