This morning I took another shakedown cruise to the title bureau. I bought my truck in NJ and never got an Ohio title. They had to "see" the vehicle to verify the VIN #. . Wow, did it turn heads, even in its current unfinished state. On the way a good omen, I passed a civy WDX going the other way. I had not seen that truck for a year, how uncanny.
You should have seen the look on the 20 something girls face who came out to look at it
I showed her the vin on the glovebox then where to look on the frame. She opted for the glovebox. It was pretty painless other than a goof up on their part and I had to get back in line to get it reworked. I now have a OH title
On the way home I went down a side street where there had been an M43 in the yard next to a barn. As I approached the house I saw the rig was moved in the drive. Cool I thought , a brother. I slowed down and saw somebody in the garage. They peeked out but did not wave me into the drive. There were alot of those long winded no tresspasing signs all over. They obviously did not want to come out to play
All in all about 15 miles of pavement driving. I am going out now to look at my brakes and get things in order for the car show Sunday. Thanks for all the brake suggestions guys in my previous post. We'll see what I find.
