I'm looking to get some tires for my truck. I was hoping to find a set of xl's 11.00x16, but they seem extinct now. so does any body know of a good deal on NDT's, or something else?
Thanks,
Brett

michelin tires
I have a set in SoCal so that won't work for you but there is a guy in Florida that has new production (supposedly)XZL's. Try a Google search for Michelin XZL tire Florida and I will look around to see where I saw that info. Kurt

Tires
There is a set of XZL's listed on the Power Wagon forum (also in California) for sale for $2000 I'm not sure what the Florida ones are going for. Kurt

Thanks kurt, I hadn't seen that listing. That's a bit more than what I had been looking to spend. I was talking to a guy at gensco, back in the winter. they had some 75% XL's for $100 each. he's all out now, and doesn't think he'll be getting any more. I had seen similar deals on ebay, but they seem gone as well. Anyway, I'm just keeping my eyes open for a set of tires in the $400-$500 range. Something thats at least an improvement over the bald, dry rotted, 50 yr old NDT's That currently grace my rims.
Thanks
Brett

If you don't mind the work the best tire deals might be found at GL. You can buy trailers with new tires for about the cost of just the tires from a retail dealer. I bought several M101 trailers with 9.00x16 supergrip tires mounted on the same rim as a M37 or Dodge wc. I bought the trailers in NC last year for about $350 or 375. Location and patience are a factor and there are a fair amount of headaches involved.
