Exhaust manifold nuts

If that doesn't work, you may have to compare the "feel" of the others and try to get as close as you can without over-torquing the hard-to-get-to nuts. You don't want to break off a stud! If it's just a frog hair looser than the others, the worst that will happen is your manifold gasket may burn out a little sooner in that spot, but it should be a long time before that happens.

I was thinking along those lines too Lifer. Since the recommended torque is low anyway I'm hoping a little differences will not be detrimental. I was running my truck with two of the cup washers broken in half and I didn't detect a leak. Thanks for your time.Lifer wrote:If that doesn't work, you may have to compare the "feel" of the others and try to get as close as you can without over-torquing the hard-to-get-to nuts.
