How many of the parts are interchangeable with the m-37?

That is a rather BIG and ambigous question.
To get a more exact answer, I would state which particular parts you are refering to, and which year of power wagon.

Tom,

The guy who told me about it just says it looked cool but didn't look at it too close. I showed him a pictures of the different models and it appears that he found an m37 or 37b. He thinks there was a spare tire mounted to the passenger door. I'm going to go see it for myself this weekend. I will take pictures and post them. If it looks as good as it sounds, I might be bringing it home.

Here's a photo of the truck. I supposively runs but I'm confussed because the data tag has a 4/52 delivery date and there is a spare tire mount on the drivers side. I don't think the cab is original to the rest of the truck. There is no tail gate, no winch, and there are a few more items missing. The interesting thing is the hard top. The hole in the back is not a clean cut. What do you guys think about the top?

Can't tell you much about the top as there doesn't seem to be a picture attached to this here posting.

The door spare tire carrier could have been added later in it's life.

If you can get it cheaply enough and get it retitled in your state, it looks like it might be in good enough shape to resurrect it.

BTW: I'm a retired TSgt, myself (7/61-2/65 USAF, 3/65-7/72 ILANG, 7/72-10/89 USAF),hence the user name "Lifer."

Now for a question...what's the badge in your avatar? I have a Master Communicator badge, myself.

I can pick it up for 700.00 but it's mising the tail gate and the bed was covered in plywood. Don't know if there is anything left of it. It supposively runs too!

It's an aircraft and munitions maintenance badge. There are three levels: basic, senior, and master. They are awarded based on experience in an aircraft maintenance career field. The USAF started this in the late 80's.

I bought one in a little better condition three weeks ago, not much! I got him down to $450 , try getting him down on his price around $500 or less you might make some money by parting it out and using the better parts on your other truck if you have one. good luck remember BUY LOW SELL HIGH. Twice. 1972-1973 and 1981-1983. Both times, I lived on Ware Ave in the (now bulldozed)Wherry housing area. The second time I was directly across the street from where I lived the first time!

Both times, I played bass with Tom LaQuette and the Sting Rays (country band, of course) in my off-duty hours.

That top is home made, but from what I can see is nicely done. The truck looks in good shape, but one pic from the back make it hard to say otherwise.

I never seen an original M-37 artic top thats why I only took that picture. Still kicking around the idea of buying it as a parts truck and using what I need for mine than parting out the rest. That would help with offsetting the cost of restoring mine a little. No doubt had the top been original I would have jumped on it.
