I placed an order for LEAD the other day with a sporting goods supplier I deal with. All my ammo(even my plinking 22WMR) except for shotgun shells was backordered with ship dates several months out. This has never happend before.
I have tried several dealers for .380 auto and that seems hard to get anymore. A note on my receipt said "currently ammunition is in very high demand".
Stock up now up my friends...

Ammo
David;
Yes, I have noticed here in PA as well that most places that sell ammo are showing empty shelves, etc. I used to by alot of ammo from Wal-Mart as it was the cheapest place around. Go there now for anything but say .30-06, or maybe .30-30 and you will be disappointed. I can't remember the last time I found .357 cartridges on their shelves. I buy all handgun ammo now from the local indoor pistol range. Since that's their business, they always have plenty of handgun ammo in stock, and their prices are on par with Wal-Mart.
Obama is the reason for this panic. Everyone thinks he's gonna ban this or that, and they'd be right. He's already trying a backdoor policy with these "arms going into Mexico" BS. He's gonna try to use the drug cartels obtaining illegal guns from the US as a means to justify banning assault weapons. And he's already said he want to reinstitute the ban and make it permanent, and the Mexico thing is a perfect excuse for him. So I can understand the panic buying to some degree.
