My M-37 is already a hell of a hillclimber with the 6.2 diesel v8 in it.

Sorry to disapoint you guys, this engine goes inside this

That's an original '41 Willy's Coupe, not a fiberglass body one.
The older guy is the one who design the custom chassis and built the tubular control arms for me. The other one is doing the body job. He built the tricky hood you see in the picture, operated with a pair convertible top hydraulic pistons.

This, and the fact that it's my daily driver is the main reason that my M-37 project has been on the backburner for a while.

That ride will look really good with a leather interior...and I know a great leather shop to get the hides from.... ;)

Juan, the Willys Coupe has ALWAYS been my favorite coupe. The closest I ever came to having one was a 1939 Ford Coupe. It was similar, but it still didn't have that "cool look" to it like the Willys has.

I env you.

There is only one other car that gets second billing behind the Willys coupe, and to me that is a 53 Studebaker Lowey coupe. And to think you can use it all year with no road salt! Beautiful
BTW Juan, I like your choice in a carb. When I built my 64 Ford big block I used an AVS Edelbrock and always do on street cars. Track only is a different story though.

Yes I always loved the Willy's 41 Coupes, imagine when I found one in the proverbial barn find way.
The carb is not a choice, that's and Edelbrock Crate engine, it comes complete with ignition and all, just need to add oil fuel a starter and it's ready.
Leather is the only way in that coupe, sad shipping is a killer :P
