Yes, I do believe my blades were made by New Star as well.

Got tired hanging around the house, walked over to the shop & checked out my New Star catalog, there they were. They are there in 6,12, & 24 volt. No detail given though, I'll see what I can find out tomorrow. Just my first impression, wholesale cost is way too cheap for much quality to be in the product. I'm most certain they are cheaper imports. I'll post more info when I can get it. New Star is a great line of products, in all honesty though, you have to watch some stuff they sell. I've found that this is especially true with some electrical components. I'm not knocking new star, we do a lot of business with them, if it weren't for them, some needed items would not exist as new.

Talked to my New Star rep today concerning the wiper motors, he says they are specifically for Jeeps & not larger vehicles, thus the short arms & blades. He says they are not intended for use on vehicles with larger windshields & in his opinion would clear a very small area of the glass if used in applications other than intended. He didn't recommend them at all in snow. This is pretty much what I had expected to hear, there is currently none in their warehouse & they have a 60 day lead time on having another shipment in. Personally, I would rather have a good functioning vacuum wiper system than I would to have these. You guys that have them share your opinions when you have a chance to put them to the test.
