Hi Everybody and happy Thanksgiving,
I have recently Got a pair of new Non-Dir 9.00 X 16 Tires. Along with the tire came tubes that are 7.0/7.5 X 16. Does anyone see any problems using these tubes in the 9.00 X 16 Tires. Any input would be greatly apriciated.. Thanks...
It's best to use tubes of the same size range as the tires. Some are marked as suitable for several sizes, others are "specific." The tubes you have might work, but they will be overinflated. That will make them thinner than the design specs and, consequently, weaker than desired. If there is even the slightest blemish (i.e. thin spot) in the tube, it will make itself known...usually at the most inappropriate time. Been there. Seen it happen.
Hello all, I agree with Lifer regarding the tubes. 1 and 1/2 inch on each side of the tire is quite a lot to be safely overinflated. If it was me I would not do it.
LIFE IS SHORT AND ENDS UNEXPECTEDLY. MAKE EVERY MOMENT WORTH REMEMBERING.
I use the next size down tubes in my nd jeep tires but a jeep weighs alot less then an m37 think my tires are 7x16 i use the 6x16 tubes cause i had them
Wallace Wade in Dallas has the correct tubes cheap-don't risk your life over an incorrect set of tubes-get the right tubes that would cost under $60.
I just got a set of four new tires, tubes and flaps from WW at a GREAT price.
If I may- remember, Safety First! You can shortcut stuff like the incorrect shade of paint or a round vs square mirror, but don't choose options for your M that could be hazardous or dangerous. That's your life and your family that may be "at risk".
