I think the filter housing has a small drain plug near the bottom, if its positioned in the bracket right. As to the tires the non directional arent so bad ,unless u do alot of driving in mud or snow.( the mil carried chains for this) I have operated my truck for 13 yrs on them w/o any problems in h...

I agree w mr Talbert the book is hardly an kind of guide to a restoration. Im not sure if mr. Ahl ever did any restoration work prior to, or since, that vehicle. I am surprised that it ever sold so well, but for a novice who needs any help they can find its a start(of some kind). As for paying more ...

Possibly they dropped the requirment for a kit in the vehicle, but why only stop punching the slots and...

Im not sure but I think alot of the gun mounts were field expediant. I dont know if there was ever a manual or standard parts list. I think they just made the paticular gun mount fit the truck the best way they could. Although if there is a manual or directions Im sure someone here has or knows of t...

I remember to before the event was at the Proving grounds, it was first held at Summit Air park in Middletown De.The trail rides were along the banks of the nearby Delaware canal. I believe a guy named Steve Roberts sponsored it there, he was married to a DuPont (I heard) and had some vintage mil. a...
