I guess I didn't make it clear that the 6.6 reading on the digital meter was across the coil + to - .

The reading I get across the coil, is 6.6 on a digital meter. Does that idicate a good coil?

Does anyone know how to test the original 24 volt coil for the 230 c.i. engine? What ohm reading should I get with a meter?

Thanks for the heads up on the canister fittings!
I did take the new filter base and hose to NAPA and they couldn't come up with a fitting!

Oil Filter Conversion?
I picked up a Baldwin filter base from NAPA, (part # 4755) and it has 1/8 NPT female ports. The existing oil lines from the original filter canister are too large to attach to the new filter base. What do I need to adapt the existing oil lines to the new filter base? My local Napa store didn't have ...

I purchased my Red Oak troop seat wood as a set all pre-drilled and the correct size for the rack. Some of the pre-drilled holes were off and I had to re-do and adjust a few things.
