Horn button installation

I forgot to take a photo when I took my steering wheel off last year and now I cannot get the horn button back on. I think that my hang up is what type of clip holds the cable terminal (horn cable that comes out of the steering column) to keep it from sliding down the insulator and into the column. ...

Re: Trying to understand this data plate

The number behind the air cleaner is the cowl number, my 1951 came with one, my 1954 did not, at least not when I got it.

Your hard top is accurate for a 1951, the sliding rear window hardtops came in 1952.

Hope this helps,

M37 door bolts

I removed both doors without paying attention to the bolts.

Are they just regular 3/8th one inch long bolts with lock washers or something special?

Thanks,

Master cylinder question

I am installing the 1584 dual master cylinder on my truck with drum brakes on the front and rear.

Do I need to install residual check valves on both the front and rear lines?

Do I need I one for the front and one rear or do I need four total?

Thank you,
Bob from South Dakota
