Re: Rebuilt axles 13 Times !!!!
The axles could/would break under the right conditions with the stock L-Head 6. I've gone through many with my V8 conversion, but mostly because of the abuse I subjected them to. It all depends on how you use/drive.

Ah, the hard one to find, and expensive when you do.

Re: V8 in M37 pros/cons
Axles are the weakest link (I've broke MANY), I've only broke one ring gear pinion, and it was due to me abusing it and the ARB Air Locker letting go.. If you up the tire size to 39.5", you can get good speed. I run 3,000 RPM at 60 MPH.

I wonder if the pump valving in the modern (2014) is compatible with the older box's? Not sure about flow rates either.

Re: Anyone making new rear axle shafts now?
Don't suppose anyone knows who makes those VPW axles? They are from BRANIK Motorsports. Ask me how I know. http://branikmotorsports.com/drive-flanges-front-and-rear/ http://branikmotorsports.com/branik-legacy-rear-full-float-racing-axles/ I did not see anything listed for the M37, is it some...

Re: Anyone making new rear axle shafts now?
The Foote's are junk, I have broken 4 total, 2 long and 2 short on my M37. I just received the new improved two piece axles from VPW. I'm told that so for no one has broken them. I'm sure I will give them a good test. https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/65809053_2827277297344268_825946253...

Got the same email, was wondering if they are making some back-end software changes that triggered the email.
