I keep hearing you guys refer to "flaps" for the tires/wheels. Can someone describe what a FLAP is and how it is used? Or better yet, a picture! I am kinda new to MV's and kinda dumb about some things. :(

:D If it is the same M101 that I was watching on ebay, I think you got a pretty good deal. The trailer seemed to be in good condition. It will look good behind your M37. Someday I will get one for my M37.

Keith and Zach, Great story and great looking truck. Wonderful that veterans are being remembered! Zach, I wish you the best of luck with the Air Force Academy (from a retired Navy man). Also nice to hear that you are involved with Habitat for Humanity.

WELCOME to the group! In the pictures, it looks like a pretty decent truck. I would take a very close look at the the underside for any serious rust, being in NY with all the salt they use on the roads. Mine came from NY and has surface rust underneath but nothing serious. Apparently mine wasn't dri...

Got mine in Aug of this year and put about 9 miles on driving it home. I am starting to work on it some. Have the gas tank out right now, and just today put in a new throttle cable. Mine has 6225 miles on the odo, believe it to be original.

I have heard that the plastic gas tank in the older Chev S10 pick up (and probably the GMC) is very close to the correct size. Probably would have to adapt the filler neck and the fuel outlet. Might be worth a check! Also, the gas tank from the generator trailers (I don't know what the model designa...

NICK, I have my tank out right now and and the fuel pick up in my tank is the same as you described. I had my tank "dipped" at a radiator shop, then finished cleaning out the inside, and painted it. Got a new sending unit from Adirondack Dodge. I also want to install an elect pump near the...

How long have you been working on the restoration? Looks like it will be as good as new when completed. Keep up the good work! And post more photos as you progress.
