Hi, yes you can rebuild them, they have fiber boards ( called vains ) that work like the wheel on the back or side of a paddel wheel boat, try some WD-40 in the air inlet, the rotory hammer and vains may just be gummed up from 6 yrs of air, oil and water. :shock:

Hi Bruce! I was in the 135th. C-130s. I moved back to Baltimore from Canon City Colorado in 1980, I was in the Army Guard in Colo. I would guess that you wouldn't know your way around Glen L. Martin State Airport these days, it has changed a lot. Yes it is a very small world indeed. :)
