Re: Change of plans, AGAIN!
Thanks Josh, I'll save his number. I'm planning on using the 2 1/2 ton Spicer 3053A transmission. I've got one in my deuce and it works great. Good luck with your build and look forward to reading about it. Ron

Josh, if you mind, who did you get the 4bt from. I'm going to be doing the same swap in the near future. Could use a good source for the motor. Thanks Ron

Re: door latch repair
Thanks Guys, I do believe it is the spring. I have not opened up the door panel yet, but it just feels like the spring broke. Is it easy to replace it up in there, maybe I can get my wife to do it, small hands! i will get a call out to John. Thanks again

carb kits
Thanks everybody, I've got some vacation coming and after renuing the gas tank, new lines and cleaning the fuel pump, I still don't have any power to climb small inclines. The timing is right on as per Charles, so I'll rebuild the carb and go from there.

truck won't start
great information and the pictures made it clear what I found on the splash shield was the broken off handle. Now we need to know who sells a replacement handle and how hard is it to change out. Can the pump stay on or does it have to disassembled. Thanks and sorry for jumping in

pto oil change
Thanks for clearing that up, I'm not going to take it apart, just wanted to get the old oil out. The truck was sitting in a barn all those years and I know oil does break down and additives go bad, so when I learned about you using 50 weight now, I wanted to change it. It was clean as can be! Thanks...
