Re: Ignition 101

Re: Tire chains to fit 11.00 R16 tires
You may consider trying an AG supply store...11.00-16 is a fairly common front tire size on some smaller tractors. You'd probably end up with what amounts to what we call up north, a steering chain...usualy round or square twisted links, on a two-link cross chain spacing. Studded v- bars are availab...

Re: T98 input shaft

T98 input shaft
Does anyone know the stickout length of the the Acme t98 in put shaft? Curious,as I can't find much info on the 1-3/8" input.
Looking for the length from the trans case mounting surface to the tip of the input...the inner diameter of the throwout bearing would be cool to know as well.

since the wiring needs a rebuild on my m43,this might be a practical mod to consider and plan for now, rather than later...whats involved? especially on the wiring side?

wrench for valve lash adjustment
what size wrenches?
mines not bad...just sounds like a bunch of sewing machines, even when hot...i think a lash adjustment is long overdue. cant find info on the size of wrench required.
