Slave Cable Wire Routing
I am wondering if anyone could tell me the route the + wire travels from the plug to the starter? Does it route up along the dimmer switch and along the firewall? Any guidance is appreciated.

Re: horn button rebuild
Thanks for the pic. I was thinking that was the correct way but I have messed everything else up so bad what are the chances I was guessing right.

Re: horn button rebuild
It is spring "C". It has a plate on one end that isn't shown in the schematic. I can make up reasons for it to go either way. Any guidance is appreciated.

Re: horn button rebuild
Thanks for the pics; that explanation helps a ton. They must have eliminated 'X' from the assembly; I kept confusing the washer for it.

horn button rebuild
I am seeking some guidance on how the horn button rebuild kit goes together. I have 2 issues that I am trying to resolve. The spring that is held in place with a snap ring does not show a solid side on any drawings that I have seen. I am trying to determine if the solid side goes towards the plastic...

Re: Main Cab Wiring Harness
As I built the harness I caught an error in my main plug to turn signal connection. This pic reflects the fix. I still do not know how long the horn wiring group is as the harness was cut off in this section.

Re: Main Cab Wiring Harness
I worked through the old harness I have over the weekend and came up with a schematic. I added the wiring for turn signals and an electric fuel pump. Feel free to let me know if you see any errors. I plan on starting to build it up this evening and would rather catch any problems before I start the ...

Re: Main Cab Wiring Harness
That is a huge help; thanks. On the drivers side branch I see the wiring for oil and coolant (33 and 36); I am assuming these are the two connections to the senders. I would expect those wires to exit the harness somewhere around the cannon plug but I don't see them in your list. Where do they exit ...

Re: Gauge wire.
Can you read the number on the metal tag? It might hold a clue. If it says 40 then they just used the wiring for the missing panel lights to get voltage. At least in your new harness you can just leave it out and use a 5 wire.

Re: Gauge wire.
I am working through the front harness as well. Others will be more knowledgeable on the topic but from what I understand the move from ammeter to voltmeter would mean changing from a 4 to 5 wire spider. It looks like yours is a 4 wire so something else was done to change to the voltmeter.
