Had a few problems titling mine also. Use the frame number as mentioned. If you register it for the road you can use the USA numbers on the hood as your license number replacing the license plates. Gary- Thanks for the information. Have narrowed to three armories that the truck may have called home. All within 50 miles of me. Going try to find the history of the local armories.

A nice unmolested truck. Have to be on the lookout for a few missing parts. I am the west side of the metroplex. Between Decatur and Jacksboro.

New owner. Jan 1963 DOD. I have figured out the left bumper unit markings. 49th Armored Division 2nd Battalion 131 Field Artillery. The right bumper C 31. Not sure what this means. Chemical?
