Re: Wanted: frames for door glass
I got the frames now, thanks. I'm only missing the rubber that sets the glass in them.

Re: Painting rims
I'm painting mine now, just finished primering them.
My tire guy said it's really important to keep each ring with the tire that it came off of. Not sure why, but that's what he said.
Thanks for the 180-degree from valve stem tip.

M37 ID information
Looking for any information about my truck. Tried to enter it into the registry and was rejected because "8025809" is not a valid serial number (but that's what it is). Here is a bunch of info, I don't know what's important or not. GLOVEBOX TAGS/INTERIOR Procurement & Depot Maintenance...

Re: Wanted: frames for door glass
Thanks. John has all but the frames, and his repro gaskets aren't in yet. The second referral is new to me, will try it! Thanks.

Wanted: frames for door glass
In SoCal. my '53 M37 does not have door windows. Regulators and winders are there.
So, I'm looking for both frames for the window glass, and hopefully a source for the rubber gasket that holds the glass.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Another green thing to work on, 53 M37
Great thread and nice work! I just bought my first M37 and had the same trouble with transport, from Michigan to SoCal. Took some patience, which I am usually short on!

Re: new owner introduction
Yes, Nam Vet, that's the one! Thanks for the welcome, not sure what I'm getting into here, but by all accounts it's going to be fun. And I enjoy learning! I'll put my location; I'm in SoCal. After it's army life, this truck was a fire department vehicle. First question is why do people convert from ...

new owner introduction
I won my first M37 today and will have it soon. An army truck has always been on my vehicle bucket list. But, I don't know a thing about it, very glad to be here. Other than a "misfire", it is complete, runs and drives. Original wheels come with it. What do you think of these wheels? http:...
