It’s original 24v but new harness and regulator. There is two adjustment screws it looks like inside the regulator.

Re: Solid State Voltage Regulator Adjustment
It was showing 34 volts on my crappy multi meter so quite high. I’m going to double check with a better meter tomorrow. Could hear the batteries getting hot though so I think the gauge is accurate.

Solid State Voltage Regulator Adjustment
Hi. After 6 years finally got my M37 Running and road ready.
When idling my voltmeter is showing high. I have a solid state voltage regulator. Is there an adjustment?

Not sure why the images don’t scale. Just open them in a new tab to see the whole thing.

Re: 1952 M37 CDN Restoration
Sorry for the lack of updates. Lots of progress. Engine went to the shop, crack in the crank, crack in the head, big chunk out of the exhaust manifold so full rebuild and a bunch of replacement parts but runs good and looks good now. Installed it and cleaned up, painted and installed all the accesso...

Vintage wiring of Maine can sell you a 4 wire regulator harness VPW also has them in the electrical section of the catalog and I bet Midwest military has some if you call John. Not sure where you would get just the plug alone

Here too, put the engine back in my M the other day and working steadily away on bringing it back to life.
Jess RIP
I heard today that Jes Anderson(Jess on here) passed away after a long battle with illness. He was a great help to me getting started with my truck and we had picked up parts for each other and chatted about our trucks for the last few years. He was a good guy and will be missed. He last posted on h...

Re: 1952 M37 CDN Restoration
A bunch of progress since the last post but I didn't have photo hosting figured out again until now. There was a lot of priming and painting done over the summer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zra7w2rywsxb2sh/Photo%202017-09-01%2C%202%2038%2024%20PM.jpg?raw=1 Springs were all taken apart, cleaned up, fi...

I think the Canadian trucks got B1 mods in service. Mine is a 52 but has the door mounted spare and turn signals like a US B1.
