Why don't you think 2 gallons is enough for a top coat? paint thickness in only 3 mils and primer is cheaper than paint

Thanks for the help, we ordered a new rack off of EBay last night. The $40 cost is FAR cheaper than sending this to my welder for hours of rework, on mine the angle iron frame is wavy and the mounts for the pickax head are pretty much gone. Let me see, I took the 68 Utiline apart during the summer to repair the rear cab mounts, and the M37 just got the knuckles redone. So I pulled the M37 out of the main bay today, cleaned up the grease and oil residue, restocked on rags in a box and tube grease and now the 62 Town Wagon is in the bay....

We are located in the Johnson City, Tennessee area and my office is very close to the Bristol Motor Speedway for those NASCAR fans..
