Thanx for all the comments I actually found some tubeless 16.5 inch rims that are made for a m37. That would fix all my problems but the guy cant bare to part with them. I have found the stock tires through coker at over 1100 dollars jeez thats over board I dont even spend that putting all terrains ...

sorry I been working alot..... I never go over 30 35 mph max! So Im really not worried about the speed rating Im only on asphalt 1 percent of the time.

tractor tires
Hi I been looking for a good deal on tires for my m37 for I dont know how long. I thought about putting some tractor tires on it but im not sure what kind? Ive been told there not made anywhere near the size I need but I have found thats not true. Any help I would be grateful.

Well if you get it back and it is lacking power and dying out on acceleration chances are you have the same problem. I would recommend asking them to save your old parts so your not totally lost.

Thanks for the info. I did notice a few things were different when I rebuilt it. I figured I was fine since I got it from vintage power wagon...... Guess not.

Well for anyone reading this I figured one of the parts in the rebuild kit wasnt the exactly the same as stock. So I just swaped out the accelerator pump the clip for the float valve and the float needle with the old ones. And one of those fixed it.

carburetor problems
I recently put a stock carter carb on my m37 rebuilt it. Fuel goes in float fills up to spec. But once the top is back on and drain is removed the fuel never comes out its stuck. Any ideas?

Awesome! I actually had realized that myself but didnt wanna argue with anyone. When i finally took it to my friend and we figured out what it is. He wasnt saying put grease in it he thought i was talking about a grease nipple found on the smaller winch.haha

I just talk to my friend who is a dodge guru been working on them in his shop 40 yrs and has 8 m37s. He said it takes grease not oil???! I have read other posts about this and I have read both. IDK its hard not to trust someone who has so much experience.

Thanx for all the responses guys! No its never been n a fire lol. But it has been painted atleast 3 times. It was working good but I was going through the fluids and noticed the oil just went straight out of the seal behind the spool. After fighting to get it out i realized how hard its gonna b just...

Type of winch??
I have staring at this winch there isn't a data plate on it and it doesn't look like a m37 winch to me. Any ideas?? I found one part number on it. Its defiantly military. still trying to add pics may never figure it out just says files to big
