Re: High speed starter for the Dodge 230...
That starter was in the truck when I bought it. VPW rebuilt it for me several years ago but it's just too worn out to continue grinding with it. Gary Hey Gary, Does your old one have any part numbers on it? Think you might sell it? I am building a custom 'what if' MV based on the M37, and want a 'c...

I would also trailer it unless it is an emergancy or very short distance.
I towed my first M37 home behind a deuce and a half, and when making a turn, the M37 decided it wanted to keep going straight. My deuce almost tipped over, if I hadn't steered a little out of the turn and tapped the brakes.

I put the nuts on and went around tightening each one a flat at a time, and it went in and sealed. All appears to be well, but time will tell.

Rear driver axle shaft won't go all the way in
Hello. I tried searching but didn't find anything. I've been rebuilding my 1954 M37. I pulled all the hubs and have done the seals and bearings. My issue is I went to put the driverside axle back in, and no matter what position, it won't go all the way in. Leaves about 1/4-1/8 gap. Tried putting som...

Re: Best Tail Lights for M37
The M37 I just bought from a county had the Gama goat lenses on it already. As the housing and the green part around the lense are painted the same OD color, I would assume that the lenses were put on many many years ago, quite possibly by the military prior to the transfer to the county's Civil Def...

I'd never heard of them before, but my 'newest' m37 has the Mohawks, and they are different than the firestones on my B1 and the Goodyears on my buddies M37.

Re: NOS M37 front wiring harness
Ok, that answers that!
thanks Charles and Bob. I did pull it out of the box and it is dated 10/53. the wire is ok for now and seems pretty flexible. I've decided to use it in my truck for the time being.

NOS M37 front wiring harness
I purchased a NOS, still sealed in the wax box, M37 front wiring harness. It is very old, but I would imagine still being sealed up would be in good shape. The label is hand written and glued onto the box. I figured someone wanting to do a 100% resto might want the harness more than I do, as I'm jus...
