Re: Master Cylinder Vent
Finally got a good pedal. Ordered a master cylinder so put it in anyway. Changed the cracked tube from cylinder. It seems my problem was that the brake shoes were not adjusted properly resulting in too much pedal travel. Nice hard pedal but still stops as fast as an aircraft carrier, lol.

Re: Master Cylinder Vent
Thanks guys for the ideas. Decided to make my own power bleeder out of a short piece of 1 1/2 pipe with all the adapters to fit the master cylinder on one end and an air compressor fitting on the other. It probably holds about twice the amount of fluid then the M/C. Used only about 10psi and bled al...

Master Cylinder Vent
Hey guys, whats the purpose of the master cylinder vent line? I don't know if the petcock should be opened or closed. I'm planning on replacing my master cylinder but the vent line fitting and tubing are so corroded I doubt I'll be able to get it off without destroying it. Where does this vent line ...

Re: no oil pressure
Yippee!!! Found the problem. After researching rebuilding options, parts and looking for local machine shop services, I remembered "Monahan's rule on breakdowns.....check the last thing you messed with." After working on my new troop seat brackets, wood and stain I had forgotten that I had...

no oil pressure
Just started the M-37 for the first time in a few weeks and noticed oil pressure gauge on zero! Oil level is full. Never had great pressure all along but adequate. This was sudden but before I have a coronary what should I check? Maybe sender, maybe gauge ? How do I check those ? Ok, I took a Xanax.

Re: Kids love military trucks!
I also brought my M-37 to a "Touch A Truck" event here in Aiken, SC. The kids LOVED it. It was the biggest draw of the event. Had to spend 10 mins switching/unswitching things back to normal and it will take hours to remove lollipop marks and baby drool but I'd do it again. BTW, where did ...

Redi Sleeve Question
Hi guys, I'm back. Move completed to South Carolina from New Jersey. Gonna start working on M-37 again now that new shop is completed. My question is are the output yokes on the transfer case the same size as the axle yokes ? I had previously installed a redi sleeve on a transfer case yoke. Now I ha...

I can vouch for Bob Stahls work. Actually drove up from NJ to his place in MA. Did a fantastic job and is a great guy as well.
Re: test
I have no idea! Thanks for your response. I need some help posting pictures. I'm not completely useless on the computer but surely I'm missing something. I understand that I can't download pictures from my computer so I opened up a Photobucket account and downloaded to there. I followed the instruct...
