Re: Draft Pad (?) "boots" around the shift levers
Problem with a boot on the transfer case is 2 levers on the same plane so 4 high would be impossible as the levers spread apart

Re: Draft Pad (?) "boots" around the shift levers
Im not an expert but there is no boot that I know of, just the rubber pads with a sloth for the lever, I imagine even new they dont work that great unless the rubber is really soft. I hve been wondering about using a brush seal of some kind but dont know if it would be much better?

Re: Help! My truck won't run!
just a thought but odds are the distributor and oil pump are not messed up unless they have been removed, More often then not its the basics, I have finally learned (kinda) after countless times going for big fixes only to find it was something small and simple, just not easy to find. One note, i wo...

Re: can't find the steering box adjustment
Its been a while but I want to say theres a screw adjuster poking through the frame with a sort of star washer deal, also, removing shims from the end cap the horn wire comes out of tightens up the play in the worm gear. the steering shaft basically screws up to a stop or down to the end cap before ...

Re: Just a couple of pics of my M at work
Carter not at all thinking you were telling me how to do it, the armys method was much better for them and overall simpler but I have the kids seat and a hard top half the year, plus I have to do things the hard way... Thanks for all the comments, im always looking for ideas and input on my ideas.

Re: Just a couple of pics of my M at work
I thought about that method but while this was more work initially it only takes a few minutes to set up plus it clears the seat in the bed for the kids as well as the hard top when its on. I would have to take off the tail gate, remove the seat thats bolted through the bed mounts, remove the hard t...

Re: Just a couple of pics of my M at work
Carter, neat setup, I almost went around the sides like you did but figured one line would be easier for my application. Its really interesting to see what has been done to old MVs over the years, lots of creative people out there

Re: Just a couple of pics of my M at work
Its anchored to the pintle hook, I made a bar that drops into the last stake pocket and one that drops int o the first, this routes the rope up over the cab. My brother in law is an arborist and he made me a rope out of winch line with 3 loops in the back and one in the front for a bunch of reach co...

Tried it out this weekend and it didnt fold in half....yet...
