Gents, Two horrible things have happened, well the first one is just a pain, the second one is what is horrible. I was let go from my job due to corporate restructuring, that is the pain in the rear problem. But the real horror come from misplacing my cd of manuals for the M37 when I left. I can not...

At least I know I am not the only one
What I like is when you start on one project but have to complete another before you can get to the original problem..........

Longest trip to date
This Saturday I have a friend that lives 55 miles away and has a farm. We was talking bout setting some telephone poles for a deer stand next to his fields. I worked up a trade, labor for hunting privileges. I gave the truck a good once over, fluid levels, tire pressure, tools and headed out. The tr...

Thanks Doug,
I checked it out and the switch is working just fine. No power indication until in the full on position.
Thanks again

Did my ignition switch die?
The beast has been running great for a while now. Tonight, took it for a quick trip to Lowes everything was fine. Came out and flipped the ignition switch and nothing! The fuel pump came on, the fuel gauge powered up, voltage meter went to yellow, starter would not even try to turn over, voltage gau...

Re: Why can't I get the timing advanced far enough?
[quote="M37Jon"the best I can get is about 5-8 degrees after TDC. [/quote]
From experience you will never get it to 5-8 degrees "AFTER TDC" That is a typo in the manual.
Set it to 4-6 degrees BEFORE TDC and you should be right in the sweet spot.

Re: Truck dies when hot and then runs later
I had a similar problem, folks on this board suggested a compression test of each cylinder. Found out I had one that was worse than the others but none were what you could call good.

Re: New ,Repro tail and front light Question
The number stamped on the frame starts off with 2668-0-XXXX. Yes I know I am short a number but that is all that was stamped on the truck. That makes it a 63B1. SO why then the douglas connectors? HUMMMMMMMM.
