Finally found out what the screw jack on the right rear of the frame was used for. This truck served with the Army Missile Command in Europe and is a V-126 radar truck. The jack was used to level the truck when radar was in use. The radar received and decoded IFF signals for friend or foe

Gemmer steering box
Rebuilt my steering box after a lot of research on how to. It wasn't such a big job as I thought, it came apart fairly easily. The new bushings went in rather nicely after sitting in the freezer for an hour, I had to make a new oil seal for the steering shaft were it came out of the box by using an ...

Re: m 151 heater
Thank you. After diving into an old electronics book with those long forgotton formulas I managed to come up with the same answers as you. Now I know why the 25 watt resistor cooked. I really appreciate your response, you seem to be the go to guy for the M37.

m 151 heater
Installed my heater according to the diagram on the Garbee web site, my 5ohm 25watt resistor cooked. Is this the right resistor? I can not find a resistor thats labeld 5 ohm 24 volts. Can someone tell me the wattage of the resistor used?
Please help.
