You might also check your yoke to see if there is a ring worn around it. If there is it won't completely seal even when the seal is new.

You got me on the bumperettes. I haven't noticed any difference except the USMC rear shackle brackets that are specially for those.

Thanks. 7"s sounds so short when you look at pictures. I have a 1953 winch model and the shackles were removed, all else is their. At present I am mounting a 1956 hot water style heater I found new and complete in the original box. Truck runs and drives great, just touching it up a little.

That would work. I have seen several versions, some small diameter and larger. Good measurements would be appreciated and then I can bend cold role dowel to those specs. Thank you.

USMC M37 Front Weld On Lifting Shackles
Does anyone know the dimensions of the u-bolt shackle or is there a leaf spring u-bolt that can be used, just cut the threads off?
