Anza Borrego M35

Took a desert tour yesterday with California Overland inc . Not M37 but since we share the same windshield it’s close enough! Great tour and fun bobbing around in an old MV.

Did you wind up in Salton Sea? One of the weirdest places on the planet.

Close - we could see it but didn’t actually get to the shoreline. The whole area is bizarre to a Midwesterner.

Going back up the hill (the other way) you get to the idyllic little mining town of Julian.

We find it really hard to leave after a visit.
