U.S. Army Bath trailer

Post by Cliff »

Does anyone know anything about the military bath trailer. The data plate says it is a”Bath Unit 24 Head TRLR MTD”. It was manufactured in 1980 according to the data plate. I saw it parked in a grove of large Oak trees just outside of Bear Valley California way up in the mountains on a large ranch where I was viewing a large heard of wild Mustang horses. It has large doors on the left side that open horizontally so the whole side is open. The back has doors that open vertically so the whole back is open. It has a set of stairs that you attach to the lower rail in the back to crawl up into the trailer. Once inside the roof is only about a little more than 5 feet so anyone taller than 5 feet tall can’t stand up inside. It has it’s own fuse box and a large 50 watt plug in for a line from a portable generator. It was manufactured by York Shipley Inc. The lady that owns it plans on fixing it up to use as a portable line house on her very large ranch so she can camp in it over night instead of having to try to make it back to her home every night when she is working the ranch . Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry never seen that one! You might look around on Steel Soldiers to see if it's out there.
