Trying to finish up on my windshield, and cannot get the arms to fit. It seems like the windshield is sitting too low in the frame, I used all new stuff. More pics in next post

Is it possible that I have the wrong hinge? I can't figure this out.

Not likely the wrong hinge; is the gasket too thick up top?
I can't drag out my spare to measure this late at night but will check and let you know tomorrow.

The gasket is a seam sealer, it squishes down to nothing-so that shouldn't be the problem.

It almost looks like the hinges are not joined/lined up?

The u channel on my frame was bent up much further than yours. You said “all new stuff”? Could you elaborate on sources?

I bought this truck in 1994, and started buying all the parts I could in the following years-so I have no idea where I got them New M35 windows (supposed to fit) new oem hinges.
I am thinking of opening the window far enough to install the arms, and seeing if it will close-- maybe pushing the hinge up?

OK, here's what I did. I opened the window enough so I could attach the arm to it, got everything tightened down and closed the window. Towards the bottom it pushed the window up a bit and it came closed. So I guess everything is ok. I have never had windows in mine before, when you release the closure hasp does your window jump forward? I think it is mostly the rubber uncompressing.
Let me know what you think.

The gasket should go to the top of the channel, is that what happened?

This gasket to what channel? I was told the gap is normal, that there are little square foam pieces that go there?

One of the hinges is bent wrong fer sure. Can’t tell 100% if mine is any different but the V is tighter on mine.

I think you have the top part of the glass frame and the hinge reversed.

I sure would like a photo of someone's hinge area up close so I could see a problem with mine. I can see no other way to assemble this and get it to attach, only one way to put the hinge on so the window will attach to it. The hinge part on the window frame-is part of the window frame, so it is on right.
Thanks for the input,
