My m37 pinion is spinning and truck dosen't move (rear differential). I can't get under it right now because of back problems.Can it a broken pinion shaft or spider gears ect.? I've noticed a diff repair kit from vendors. any info will help. Thank You Michael

Could be either one-the only way to really tell and repair is to pull the center chunk out.

i second hte axle shaft check. that is most likely. the stock diff is very tough
