here is the heater for the intake, the pivoting piece, with a brass nut so it doesn't corrode with the heat. I keep mine closed year around, although here is is open. Hal

thanks for the pic!!
mine seems to be different.
there is a lever there, just pending with no signs of any actuator.
but what I can see from jour pic is that my hand throttle is incorrectly mounted.
