Ball joint lubrication

Post by investig8 »

Hello all,
I am still working on my steering issue and find that the ball joints are not lubricating to speak of. I have greased the zert on top but have no idea when there is the enough grease in them because they do not ooze grease like most joints. Anyone know how I should know when they are adequately greased?
Thanks,
Dennis

They do take a surprising amount of grease.

I am posting pics and my wartime experiences on a Smith and Wesson forum, and somehow put this above pic here. This pic has nothing to do with ball joint grease. Hal
