fuel sending unit

Post by Scrane25 »

Would an M151 fuel sending unit be a suitable replacement for the (totally FUBAR) unit in my M37? The M151 units seem to be more available than the M37 units, which I'm having trouble finding.

I've used Mutt senders in the M37 tank with good results.

Yep. They all have the rubber connector, but that is no biggie.

Ahh I'm thinking on replacing mine as it is too damaged. It works but not sure for how long.
Did they added something to avoid ascilation?
on my old mercedes the floating element was inside a tube, and fuel will enter slowly to the tube avoiding waves and oscillation on the gauge. Any way, the most important thing iwould be showing the level!!
