WTS: 1951 M-37 Dodge Power Wagon (Early Model)

Post by kgc02 »

1951 M-37 Dodge Power Wagon. This is an early model as it was the 1,081 produced. The Power Wagon is in good shape with little over 38,000 original miles. She is a little cold nature but will fire up and runs like it should. Tires have less than 100 miles on them. Paint is less than 2 years old, no fading as it is parked inside a garage.

It has the original hard top that was recently restored with all rust removed, new insulation added, primed, and painted. There is a small gap between the top and windshield on the driver’s side (see picture). This can be fixed with a couple of bolts, never got around to it.

Underneath the Dodge is the original paint, with only surface rust. No rust through in any places including the floorboards. There is some rust forming on the access box on the bed.

The M-37 is 24 volts with new batteries installed within the last 3 weeks. I have a hidden kill switch on the vehicle to prevent anyone from starting it up. Motor has all original components. Oil pressure, gas gauge and speedometer work as does the headlights and taillights. Driver's door is missing the panel.

The bed of the Dodge has no rust. Spare tire is new as like the rest on the vehicle. Troup seats and railings have been replaced. One chain on the tailgate is not original.

No title will come with a Georgia Bill of Sale. Buyer must arrange pickup or shipping.
