Air Cleaner elbow support question

Post by 98taco3 »

Hey guys,

Quick question for you. My truck was unfortunately missing the PCV stuff and had a civvy breather installed in its place with the manifold capped off. I ordered the needed components from VPW however unfortunately they just use a piece of brass pipe as opposed to the fitting that goes through the intake that is threaded to hold the elbow support bracket in place on their replacement setup.

Any ideas on how hold the arm in place without hunting down the proper fitting for the intake? Anyone come up with something clever? I can call up Midwest if need be but JUST made an order from them this week

Sorry for the delayed response. A picture would be most-helpful to see what you're addressing.
Thanks,
