Truck looks great!
Any ideas what the issue is with the idle? Too rich it sounds?
I would check the float bowl level and go from there.
Good luck, let us know how it goes!

You, my friend, were exactly right! I pulled the top off and measured with a flat edge across the top of the carb body and could immediately see it was too high. Reset it the best I could without a gauge and low and behold, she idles like a sewing machine!
Thanks for your help!

Great! Always a nice feeling when it turns out to be something simple.

Greetings all,
It's been about six months and time for an update on Fiona... Was waiting to get the new canvas top put on before posting photos. Getting really close to the first road test! Can't wait!!

Was proud to take "Fiona" on my first drive... and on the weekend celebrating D-Day too! How memorable!! No problems on the short drive but several minor details that came to light and will need my attention. Thanks to all of you who have provided assistance / insight as I muddled through the past year and a half with her. What a great experience!

Finally got everything done... well, I guess there's always something, but 99% done! I thought the side rails added so much to her look. And... thought that I'd had so much fun with Fiona, I have bought an M-38 to start on... I have a great wife!!
Hope all enjoy the upcoming Veteran's Day!
