Good Morning Lori and Tim,

All is well in this neck of the woods, glad to hear that the two of you also survived the January that seemed to go on for ever........

We have had our fair share of snow this year and its been falling on Friday night into Saturdays like clockwork. I took on a part time job snow plowing and salting of a local Villages streets and community centers...........needless to say I've working 7 days a week now.

I'm definitely looking forward to warmer temperatures and sunshine......

Best Regards,

Bert

first day without rain here in the north west and its been a very Dodgy morning . two calls about parts and got the dark green fired up with its new 251. pulled the 218 out of the shop and slid the truck back in its hole..... looks like the head and pan need to come off ....I think the small end on no 4 is toast because once its warm it goes knock knock knock.... sounded good on the floor with no exhaust

hope all is going better with all of you and your trucks.

All's well here. Certainly can't complain about the weather, it's been beautiful lately. We may take the M37 out to Cars & Coffee tomorrow. For us it's more like Cars & Coffee & Brunch. Usually there's a fun mix of vehicles. We spotted a '30's Bugatti and '60's era Batmobile some months back! Last week we helped another g741 forum member pick up some combat rims with the truck. Some still had the run flats, those suckers were HEAVY!

Fine here too, in Upstate SC, but down at the beach near Charleston for a few days. Had lunch at Shem Creek yesterday, my favorite, shrimp and grits. Sunny today, planing a walk on the beach later, then the Super Bowl. Heading back to UpState, just south of Charlotte in a few days. My truck is running fine, with new batteries, fires right up, and I drive it often, and at least start it up every few days, run it to good and warm, and move it a few feet to keep the NDT's round. Found a great place for some woods and swamp off roading very near my house, great fun with my grandson. Amazing how these trucks with big wheels just claw up and out of ditches and muck. Son and I and his 5 year old lad drove my Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio down and back to Daytona for the Rolex 24 last weekend. My Alfa has the twin turbo V6 Ferrari motor, 505 stout ponies, so it goes like a bat out of....

saw my oncologist a few days ago, now two years off chemo, still in remission for my prostate CA, and asked when/if I can hope for a cure, and he put the damper on that, and told me it was almost sure to return before too long. But I feel pretty good, and life is full of daily blessings from God for me. Every day a few more minutes of sun. A pic of my son and Ollie by he new Corvette....

Holy Cow!
Sounds like everyone is doing ok all things considered!
Fun, sun & snow plowing. Coffee always sounds good to an old truckdriver.
Love the cars and truck pictures and stories.
Going to come out of retirement again myself. Can't stay away from them ole trucks.
Strictly local and PART time! :D

By the way, I have an air compressor for sale in the classifieds. Too many toys and not enough time and dollars.

Winter Storm Kade knocking on our door here in SLC. Glad to be working from home so I don't have to slalom down the big hill.
Got my truck up for sale-still available but deadlined-RR wheel cylinder leaking so I'll give John at Midwest a call tomorrow.

Hi Tim,
Yeah, for sale is/was the plan over in the Swap Meet section as we get ready to transition into our motor home full time in the next year or two; however, Veronica mentioned today about possibly renting storage for it once we're mobile so I may end up keeping it, and happy to do so!
Did you ever put that air horn on yours? My kit still sits in the basement waiting its turn.
Nice to hear from you!
Gary

Oh, and we got 18 inches of snow today-over 300 accidents in the Salt Lake Valley....

Hey Gary.
My world has been turned upside down lately so the short answer is the air-horn is still sitting on the shelf in the shop.
Please listen to Miss Veronica and rent a spot or better yet, buy a trailer and take it along!!!
Our snow is gone for now. More next weekend.

Good Morning
Hope you are all doing well,
I'm missing my OD vehicles
Meanwhile I'm enjoying my last days of vacation, can't stay away of Dodge Trucks or Cammo though...

You bet,
I was in dire need for those days off.
Every year, when vacation time comes I feel I got there crawling. I'm geting old, I think.

The plan for 2020 is to get the m37 back together and take it on next vacation.
