New M37 owner

Post by investig8 »

Greetings to all;
I am a retired firefighter from San Antonio, Texas who has recently purchased an M37 project to keep me out of trouble. I've registered my truck and am looking forward to begin working on it. Will certainly take advantage of the vast knowledge this site offers those like me... Cheers!

I bought my M37 with the same thought: to keep me out of trouble. So far, all it's kept me out of is spare change, spare time, and spare room.

Welcome to the site. :)

Thanks gentlemen!
I am sure you are correct, my wife doesn't understand now, let alone when I begin spending time and money! As requested, I am attaching a photo of the truck. She came from a volunteer fire department in Alabama but as a former Seabee, my plan is to convert her to the Seabees. I am sure I will be looking to the site for assistance, even though I have been involved with cars most of my life, this girl is not your average "car"!
Have a great week!

Welcome to the Forum-nice rig too. Lots of folks here to help you along so feel free to search the site or post your many questions! Glad to have you with us!

Oh, and your spouse will "come around" once you get it roadworthy enough to help with the errands! My spouse of 36 years warmed up once we started using it for errands and such. :)

Welcome from Il.

Looks like a decent truck to start with.

My wife enjoys the M37 and will drive it.
She won't drive the M35A1 but will help me with it, by
Sitting in the seat and operating various controls when needed.

Yours will come around.
