South Wind heater

Post by TAK824 »

Is there anyone out there who's ever fired up their South Wind gas heater in their rig? I have an M-43 and the heater looks virtually new and unused, or very little use. Everything seems to be in good shape, with the exception of the electric fuel pump. It doesn't run or pump. I bench tested it and no luck. Probably froze from sitting for 30 plus years? Is there a replacement pump for it? I've seen Facet fuel pumps that look exactly like it, so wondering if that is what people are using? The original is a Bendix pump. It would be nice to have some heat in the rig, especially on cool fall/winter days during a parade, etc.
