Is your friend going to break the bed down into components and then clean and paint, or do it as a unit?

I think he is keeping it together, he inspected everything. It wasn't in bad shape and had body work done before but it wasn't finished. The bottom rear corners of the cab had been repaired a couple times in the past and he is making sure that is done right. Tailgate hinge also looks like it was repaired a couple times, he's cutting the junk off that and making it like it should be.T.
