The dimensions of the various spring "clips" are in the ORD 9 SNL G-741 parts manual. Multiple lengths depending on which truck (M37, M42, M43, V41) and which location on the truck.

Or just measure the ones that are on your truck now, and add whatever length you need to allow for the additional springs you plan to install?

Measure overall length, inside radius and bolt diameter.

The ORD 9 SNL lists all of the clips as having the same width of 2-21/32", but that is not the opening, i.e. not the inside measurement between the legs. The inside measures 2-1/16" on an NOS clip that I have on hand, which will just fit over the stock spring width of 2".

You probably will have trouble getting the old nuts off of the existing clips, and they likely won't be (and shouldn't be) re-usable. All of the clips use the same nuts: p/n 7351124, 9/16-18NF. However, at 3/4", these are taller than a regular hex nut. You'll need something like these: https://www.mcmaster.com/#90565a333/=162gnss
