Agreed, and hard to come by. Most folks who have them on their trucks complain of the difficulty entering/exiting through the drivers door ( which is why I'm not looking for one).

Anyone ever try to put one on the passenger side? Seems it would be more "out of the way". Don't know about interference with the gas can though.

There was a one for sale in the last year or so with the spare mounted on the passenger side. I'm not sure if there's a photo in a past post here.
