I hate troubleshooting electric issues .
It was almost a relief when I realized that my wiring is so old and scabbed together that I need to replace the whole thing with new.
I will use an eBay universal harness for about $100

Inspected the drums and they are fine.
Adjusted the brakes and they will lock em up.
I am going to replace the lines but no brake upgrades are needed.
The steering box needs a rebuild but i am gonna go with power steering maybe next week.

For reference the power steering upgrade calls for a reversed saginaw box.
And the man at snake river told me there are two different input shaft diameters.
.802
And
.732
Also a helpful tip if the shaft fit is super tight .
Sand blast the splines and you will lose 1 or 2 thousandths.
I got the box
Pump
Hoses from rock auto
And the
U joint kit
Steeringbox bracket
Steering column bearing kit from
Snake River 4x4
Everything totaled
$470

I will keep you posted as to ease of installation etc.
I dont think $470 is way out of line.
Maybe I will try to sell the old box?
It needs a rebuild but it works
