Time to sell my 1954 M37

Post by DAP »

Well it saddens me to say this but I have decided to sell my 1954 green M37. With a rebuilt 1962 M37B1 I finally decided I will never get around to finishing the green one. To many projects and to much going on in my life. The 1954 comes with a NC title, has been sand blasted to bare steel and frame powder coated and the body has been Dupont Corlar primed and painted the appropriate gloss Imron for a mid 1950s Marine truck. It has a new Midwest Military bed floor on it, new wood on the stake sides, 11 X 16 tires on lock ring rims with 4 wheel disc brakes (no brake lines installed yet), Marine protective guards on the taillights, locking hubs, hub guards, partially finished electrical harness and much more! All the big stuff that remains to finish is to drop in an engine, transfer case and transmission. I have all of those parts needed to finish. If you offer me the right price I have a spare engine and a few parts to go with it. I also have an M101 trailer with all the equipment to install disc brakes with a surge hitch set up (not yet installed. I am asking $6999.00 for the entire package, M37, M101, 2 engines, extra frame and some misc. bits You can see pictures of the truck (which is more finished now) if you go over to my album at http://g741.org/photogallery/main.php?g2_itemId=14288 You can also find pictures of the green M101.You can also poke around some of my other albums/pictures and see what I have for sale. Make me a fair offer close to my asking price and I will get very generous with including stuff. I am not interested in trading unless you have a mint condition early WWII Willys jeep but it must have a title and be in mint condition.

Wow! What a nice looking truck. It will make a great base to complete and very reasonably priced when you compare to those I see on Ebay and Craigs List out this way. I only wish I was closer and didnèt already have 4 of them lurking at my place already.

I made the lens covers by milling out the center and gluing a yellow lens in.

That's a beautiful truck and a bargain considering what it takes to get one to that condition. If it wasn't so far from me, I had seriously thought about buying it and letting go of a couple of my project trucks. Just to get mine up and running will cost more than your ask, never mind the rest of the work. Hopefully someone who wants a very nice truck will step up to make the deal the works for both of you.

Beautiful truck!! Do you still have the mix ratio for the green paint? Very interested in painting my truck the same color. Been trying to decide on paint, and absolutely love color on the Jeep Nukizer, and National Tire's RSQ1. Yours is very unique!

It is a mid 50s Marine OD gloss. I just posted a picture of the can label at the auction at:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281673330735?ss ... 1555.l2649
It is Dupont Imron paint.

DAP-

Do you happen to have a location, or contact info for the individual or location where you purchased that paint?

Thanks!

Any Dupont Imron dealer should be able to fix you up.
